Swan Neck Console Table A private commission this unique table is made from Koa. Koa is often called "Hawaiian mahogany", and is perhaps the most valuable lumber tree to be found on the islands. When polished it is a beautiful reddish color, through which wavy lines show. The early Hawaiians carved the wood into war canoes, surfboards and calabashes, today it is used for fine furniture and other practical works of art.
